About the Competition:
The Competition Jury will be headed by pianist and composer, Marek Zebrowski, Director of the Polish Music Center at USC and Artistic Director of the Paderewski Festival in Paso Robles. Awards will be given at the discretion of the Jury, whose verdict shall be final. The Jury reserves the right to withhold a prize or prizes in each age group, and Jury decisions will not be subject to appeal.
Performances at the Competition are closed to the public—only competitors and jury members are allowed during auditions. All Participants in the 2024 auditions will receive a certificate. Prizes will be awarded to the best performers in each category and announced at the end of the Competition day (October 13, 2024).
All Prize winners are expected to perform in the Youth Competition Winners’ Recital (November 2, 2024) held during the Paderewski Festival. Competition Prizes, ranging from $100-$750, will be handed out at the end of the Winners’ Recital.
