2014 Paderewski Festival in Paso Robles
November 6-9

The 2014 Paderewski Festival in Paso Robles is pleased to announce that pianist Zheeyoung Moon, first prize winner of the 2013 Paderewski International Piano Competition in Bydgoszcz, Poland, will be this year's Festival gala concert performer on Saturday, November 8. Other performances over the four-day Festival are slated to include a celebration of Paderewski's birthday with Cassandra Tarantino and North County Chorus, a recital of violin and piano music with Mariusz Patyra, violin (winner of the Paganini Competition in Italy), and a recital by winners of this year's Youth Piano Competition. Festival activities will also include a Piano Master Class with Zheeyoung Moon, and recitals by students from Poland and Ukraine participating in this year's cultural exchange program. "It Had To Be You"
Via Vega Winery, 2378 Adobe Road, Paso Robles

A special Wine Country Theatre production of the hilarious and delightful romantic comedy "It Had To Be You" starring Renee Taylor and Joseph Bologna, directed by Cynthia Anthony, at Via Vega Winery will benefit the Paderewski Festival's Youth Cultural Exchange program. Show time is 7:30. Ticket price of $40 includes show, plus delicious desserts and coffee. Via Vega wines and ports are also available for purchase.

The Paderewski Festival greatly appreciates the opportunity to collaborate with Wine Country Theatre in presenting this fundraiser. Support of the Festival and its fundraisers allows the Festival to be the world-class musical event in Paso Robles that it has become, celebrating the history, life and musical artistry of one of the city's most famous residents: Ignacy Jan Paderewski.
